And then he approached like recognizing each house of that singular place, and he listened the same thing, he had heard the night before. And he started walking and walking and he walked so much that he arrived to the border of the town, where he found a very old man who said:

" You are a foreigner, right?, fleeing from the horror. I was once like you, I was passing by, but the candor of the city, moved me and I decided that this was the place where I wanted to stay, and I did not want to leave, but then the night arrives and the horror arrives.  And in this way the days and the nights have passed and I have stayed. Let me tell you that upon arriving to this town, I once met an old man, just as you are meeting me now. And he told me a story, just as I am going to tell you now.

This town is full of men who have been terrible criminals, who  fleeing from society, took refuge here trying to find peace. But their consciences don't  allow them to live a normal life, and although they try to rest at night, the energies of their minds, do not rest and they torment themselves all night long.

And that old man, told me that they have never forgiven themselves  and although they have tried to change their lives, the past anguish hurts them. But in the morning these men and these women seem to recover their sanity, and is a wonderful world, and people seem very happy, but in truth,  they feel much pain and distress.

 These people during the day are smiling, always ready to collaborate, but at night when they close their doors, your have seen what happens. They all try to escape from themselves, they try to change, and to amend their errors, but maybe they are not truly sincere and they lie to themselves and when the night arrives and they try to rest, they get instead the fright and horror of their faults. They might not be able to forgive themselves, and maybe they will only keep on escaping...continued>
