 Así paso largas horas hasta que despertó; en ese momento vino Esperanza y le ayudó, le atendió, curó sus heridas y entonces el Amor mucho mejoró. Ya más recuperado y fortalecido, pero aún delicado, salió un poco a las afueras de aquel bosque. Pero cuál fue su destino, Amor se encontró con Lastima y Lastima se explayó, lo quiso ayudar, inclusive le quiso abrazar. 

Pero ¡oh que terrible desgracia sucedió! cuando Lastima lo tuvo en sus brazos, el Amor que estaba aún delicado cuando miró a Lastima en instantes languideció No había terminado de pasar la mañana que el amor finalmente murió.
