We, in fact,  can choose different paths and many may seem easy and attractive, however, to know our real nature we have to face a discernment process that always goes beyond our senses.

It is not that there is a conflict between the spirit and the matter, what happens is that the tendencies of each one of these two aspects are very different and it is required an order and a balance, a good constituted government so that the spirit can really be the guide, and in this way, harmony will flourish, if not, man will only know his limits, and he will lose the capacity to really experience life, because he will become slave and addicted to his senses.

The spiritual experience lifts the matter, toward the most exquisite and fine sensibility, never denies or rejects it, but gives balance, honor, dignity and beauty,  and in this way, the spiritual path lifts us above everything that is changing and relative.
