THE DEATH OF THE
INNOCENT

There are some topics that
can be compared to a hot iron because when you touch them, you get hurt;
it is like drinking poison, like fighting to death, knowing that you
will be defeated because you are confronting one lion or ten lions.
This is the reason that this topic is not for everybody but for the brave ones, for those who want to look beyond, who dare to overcome their own fears because cowardice has no place here. The name of the topic to be discussed is: The Death of the Innocent.
How many times we have heard, seen, read, know, that innocent persons
have been victims of evil persons even with torture, premeditation,
treachery, with every type of abuse and with a slow and cruel death.
Victims of monsters because, how can we name another human being who is a rapist, an assassin?
We then, have to stop
because our breath freezes, we become frustrated and say:
" Oh my God, where are you?"
Here, I am going to make a
very important pause, that will help to understand many topics.
When we say: " God, where are you?" I am going to answer that question, I will tell you where is God.
God is calling everybody,
sending his blessings but what happens is that we are deaf, blind, we
are sleeping and we are not watching. Then, the topic here is not that
God abandoned or punished us or that those are divine mysteries. No,
what happens is that we failed and things have gone to extremes.
We have to understand that
the spirit of man is fragile, vulnerable. And I will say it with the
proper words: man becomes possessed, corrupted and transforms into a
savage beast.
Then, we are the ones who
have not developed our faith into true action. We have made a
beautiful book of poetry out of love but nothing else. That is the
reason that we have left our children and families exposed and we have
allowed a system of chaos, injustice and lack of love.
Where is God? we shout but
we should better shout: where were we when God called us? is it maybe
that God has not called us to action? Then, what is the reason that we
allow violence, pornography and exploitation?
What do we want? To look
from a distance while considering ourselves to be right as we can see
that there is disorder, chaos, hunger, and physical, psychological,
moral and ethical needs?
We must not pretend that an
army of angels come to solve our problems. What we have done can be
compared to leaving our home in fire and to say after, that everything
got burned and asked what was the reason of that happening?
The answer is simple, we
allowed it to happen and this is not a call to guilt but a call to
responsibility. And also is a call to the understanding that the purest
spirituality can happen in heaven but also has to happen on earth.
To be spiritual is not to read a book, is not to close the eyes. To be spiritual is to solve problems, to avoid problems to happen, and to honor God, because he has told us what is good and what is evil.
There are persons who say that
God does not punish but I consider that not to follow God is a terrible
punishment.
I fear God because God is just
and true, then we have to realize that we have to take great care and
not call us saints, illuminated, perfect, super evolved.
The world lacks true care, a
sincere interest that things work; of course, we are not policemen, nor
soldiers. But we are more, which means more responsible, we are fathers,
mothers, sons, daughters, brothers of all and it hurts us deeply when
something evil and terrible happens. But what do we do? when do we give
a warning? when do we care for?
Why do we allow innocent victims to happen and then we ask God why.? The answer is one, which is, that we are the ones who don't apply the faith, which is not a dream but action and work.
The advice is simple, if we
right now stop been lighted candles adoring pictures and we become
pro-active for good, justice and truth.
There will be some who will let the sun, the moon and the stars pass by and the next day when they see a cadaver, will say: How horrible! But is much better not to reach the horrible experience by controlling the assassin, the miserable , who kidnaps, who does not have morals.
It is necessary to
understand that there is a time to pray and another to act, but I
don't appeal to violence, I appeal to prevention , to such a point,
where the innocent can truly live in peace.
