From the many  spiritual obstacles , arrogance may be the most serious. Let's first understand what Arrogance is and its meaning, where its influence starts and ends.
Arrogance is self glorification, where different opinions are not accepted, but only the personal opinion, which is disproportionate, but is the one that rules and directs. This confusion is so sinister because the person thinks that he is absolutely right. Besides, he needs to think that he can't do wrong. And that he is worthy to receive the applause and recognition from everyone. This blindness is caused by a disproportionate and unbalanced selfishness, that does not give place to anything else.
Arrogance does not want to listen. Arrogance only wants to evade, to lie. And the result are loneliness and disgrace. Since the right steps were not taken and the mistakes were not corrected. And they have become permanent.
The arrogant person deceives himself in many ways. And when finally he finds the mistake, then, he wants the error to be forgotten and  things to be as if nothing would have ever happened. But this is not right. It is necessary to change, to try to find Truth again and to amend the ways through a deep and complex work, which will not be achieved in an instant. Because the harm caused by arrogance is too vast. The individual has shut himself in a dynamics of power and glory, which are absurd and blind. This is not easy to change  and he will have to confront disgrace and sadness, since that is the end of arrogance.
There is no other option but to do the things in the right, sincere, humble and dedicated way. But the mind of an arrogant person is corrupted and completely poisoned, which comes from a false success. And which is like self addiction.
How to change, how to modify this situation?
 By repenting and claiming to God.
There is no other way. The soul is too absorbed in an absurd fantasy, because in truth, there is no glory neither power.
To avoid this to happen. Let's not think that we are capable of everything and owners of the truth. Let's work with dedication towards peace and love, for a better world. Let's demonstrate real actions and not dreams. Let's not assume, since arrogance dresses with supposed wonders, but when he washes his face, what is left are bitterness and idleness.  These two spiritual diseases corrupt the consciousness, pretending justification. But they will never allow the person to reflect about the lack of vision.
Arrogance pretends to feed pride and denies action. Is a pretense of victory, full of hypocrisy. And deep inside carries a melancholic soul, who recognizes the lack of values since is not allowed to act in a responsible way and to deepen as he should.
