THE DAGGER AND THE FLOWER

What hurts more, a dagger or a flower? You will probably say that the dagger hurts more, but I will tell you by experience that the flower hurts more; the reason is that I know the story of a great love, a love like love is: total, absolute, wonderful. But the day came when that love got sick and her illness got worse and the one who loved that love was feeling like one thousand daggers piercing his heart by seeing that this love was withering like a flower, was dying and he thought: " The flower hurts more than one thousand daggers in the heart" |
