Have you seen that high mountain that seems to touch the sun? Have you seen that star, which is so very far that its distance would easily duplicate eternity? Have you seen how the sea gets rough, how thunder seems to blow your ears and how nothing grows in the desert? Nevertheless, a little farther, the soil is fertile and the fields give milk and honey.
Have you seen and heard a child cry and then right after, to start laughing? All these things seem prodigious but they all are natural part of the scenery of the great way of living. But I'll tell you something that it may have happened or will happen within you. There is a moment, where laughing seems like crying, where the light of the morning is covered by shadows, where winter gives me warmth, where that far star comes down, greets me and whispers to my ears saying things that I wouldn't dare to repeat. There are also times when the desert fills with water and the water in front of me, seems to dry out and I can see the fish drown not in the sea but in the emptiness. And when I look at the eyes looking at me, I don't know who is looking ? the eyes or me?
And I keep going forward, my strength is divided and fighting in an insatiable battle where nobody lives. Then, after, I start walking over an infinite lake of blood, hate, rancor, doubt, fear and after, the nothing arrives, embracing, kissing me, it breaks me in pieces and from that nothing, I live again but now without a reason, like individual loss, without knowing what path to follow.
